Pierre Lees-Melou has completed a permanent transfer to French Ligue 1 side Stade Brestois 29 for an undisclosed fee.
The French midfielder joined City from Nice in the summer of 2021.
Over the course of the 2021/22 season he made a total of 37 appearances in all competitions.
He scored one goal, the opener in a 2-0 Premier League win over Burnley at Carrow Road.
