Report: Bears employ Chris Beatty as wide receivers coach.
The Bears are reportedly adding another coach to their staff for the 2024 season.

ESPN.com’s Courtney Cronin writes that Chris Beatty will teach the team’s wide receivers. The Bears fired Tyke Tolbert, offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, and quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko at the end of the season.

Shane Waldron is the new coordinator, while Kerry Jospeh will now teach Chicago’s quarterbacks.

Why Chris Beatty could be the next Chargers' OC in 2024

Beatty has spent the previous three seasons working alongside Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and the rest of the Chargers’ receiving corps. His previous coaching expertise came at the university level, including a three-year stint at Maryland that coincided with Bears wide receiver DJ Moore’s stay there.

I have Harrison as my top draft pick.

The people who want Caleb Williams or Drake Maye in Chicago are hoping either Malik Nabors or Roman Odunze will fall to the Bears at nine — the Bears’ own choice.
The problem is that Nabors and Odunze are increasingly being ranked No.
9 or lower in rankings and mock drafts, and I wonder if drafting a quarterback will limit the Bears’ ability to pair DJ Moore with a strong WR2 prospect.
That’s what fans are wondering.
Good news for Chicago Bears fans.
There are some other very solid WR prospects who should fall outside the top 10 (if the Bears return), and even some who could fall into the second or third round.
Remember, Puka Nacua just had an elite season in 2023 and he was drafted in the fifth round.
