Two more Detroit Lions named to the 2024 Pro Bowl: Detroit Lions Amon-Ra St.
Brown and Jahmil Gibbs have been added to the 2024 Pro Bowl roster.


The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday morning that they will send All-Pro wide receiver Amon-Ra St.

Brown and rookie running back Jahmil Gibbs to the Pro Bowl.
It was a memorable season for the Lions, and although it didn’t end the way they expected, this team will get a lot of attention in the offseason for its performance.
The first of these awards will be the Pro Bowl, scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 4th at 3 p.m.
ET on ESPN/ABC.

The Lions were already scheduled to send five players to the Pro Bowl (TE Sam LaPorta, C Frank Ragnow, RT Penei Sewell, EDGE Aidan Hutchinson, ST Jalen Reeves-Maybin), but seven alternates.

There were also players.
And with the San Francisco 49ers heading into the Super Bowl, nine of their players will no longer be eligible for the Pro Bowl, leaving the NFL to rely on a replacement pool.

” The Lions led by 17 points at halftime, but surrendered the lead completely in the third quarter, ultimately losing the game by just three points.
The most talked about thing after the loss was Dan Campbell’s two missed fourth-down field goal kicks.

The first came in the third quarter when the Lions had a fourth-and-2 at the 49ers’ 28-yard line, and the second came on a fourth-and-3 in the final period when San Francisco was already holding the lead.
Both calls resulted in incomplete passes, and the 49ers scored on both subsequent possessions.

As mentioned earlier, many Detroit fans lamented Campbell’s big decision, as the Lions lost by only his three points.
Tom Brady was also caught up in this situation.
Brady, a proven winner himself, praised the Lions’ aggressiveness, but also said he wanted to score points.

 

“They’ve been aggressive all year long,” Brady said, via Scott Polachek of Bleacher Report.
“Of course, if you’re aggressive and that doesn’t work, it’ll come back and bite you.
Yesterday it came back to bite her.
Despite the loss, this year’s Dan – Campbell’s run with the Lions was unforgettable.
He led the team to two playoff wins and its first district title in decades, and continues to have accomplishments to be proud of this season.
Detroit is currently in the offseason.
But Lions fans, knowing the team’s potential, are looking forward to 2024 even more.
