READ MORE: Aston Villa to receive a “Wonderful” £40 million boost after a club record agreement is reached.

Bryan King believes the form of Aston Villa has contributed to their “wonderful” club-record sponsorship deal with Betano.

The ex-Villa scout feels that the £40million agreement isn’t a bad deal for Betano, either.

Aston Villa will feature the betting company’s logo on the front of the club’s shirt for the next two seasons and are set to receive £20million-a-year as part of the deal (Express and Star, 22 April).

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery.

“This is a wonderful deal for Villa,” King said.“As Villa become more successful on the pitch, more sponsors will want to be involved with the club.

“How much would they need to pay for an individual advertisement on the television? This isn’t a bad deal for them either.”

With Emery in charge, and more money seemingly pouring through the club, supporters should be very excited about what the future holds.

If the Villans go on to qualify for the UEFA Champions League this season, which is looking likely, that will come as another massive cash boost on top of this Betano agreement.

If these funds are spent wisely in the transfer market, Emery could begin to build something very special at Villa Park.
