‘UNBELIEVEABLE;’ player could be about to leave Tottenham after fresh contact made

Tottenham Hotspur have now underwent their first training session in Tokyo after jetting off to Japan for their pre-season tour.

Ange Postecoglou made the decision to leave Bryan Gil and Sergio Reguilon back at home in order to seek out potential transfer opportunities.

Offloading players is something which Tottenham have been able to do incredibly well this summer with numerous players leaving the club.

Daniel Levy has done a fine job when it comes to clearing the decks for Postecoglou over recent weeks.

But the issues in north London lie over bringing in new faces this summer with Archie Gray marking the only permanent signing.

And another player could now be set to leave the Lilywhites after fresh talks were held on Tuesday over a potential deal for his departure.

Tottenham could now be set to sell another player after fresh talks

Having recently sold Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Marseille – on an initial loan – Spurs do not have a load of players left now whose future could be elsewhere.

But for the few remaining, Tottenham are trying their best to find solutions for the individuals sooner rather than later.

Spurs are said to be in talks with Girona over Bryan Gil‘s future this summer with the Spaniard having failed to impress Postecoglou since he arrived.

Those are not the only talks happening in north London over potential exits with Spurs now discussing the future of another one of their possible summer exits.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham have now held fresh talks with AC Milan over Emerson Royal.

The Italian journalist has claimed the gap between the two sides is now closing following the latest round of talks.

It is even suggested that the Serie A giants are hopeful of being able to close out the deal with Spurs for the Brazilian defender over the coming days.

The ‘unbelievable’ Emerson has already informed Tottenham that he would like to leave for AC Milan this summer.

Perhaps due to Postecoglou’s short options at the back, Emerson was one of the players to depart for Japan earlier this week.

The likes of Radu Dragusin, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are still enjoying their summer breaks having played in the two major international tournaments this summer.
