Tottenham Hotspur have been very active in the Asian community, and the North Londoners could boost their stronghold in the market by acquiring another South Korean talent, Yang Min-hyeok. An unnamed Premier League club is in talks with the 18-year-old for a possible move this summer, per The Mirror.
Spurs have landed in South Korea as they start their pre-season campaign in Seoul, as Son Heung-Min’s native destination will be one of the destinations in their Asia tour.
Tottenham are scheduled to face German giants Bayern Munich on August 3, and a fixture against a K-League All-Star team a few days before that.
Rumours suggest that a Premier League club is in contact with Gangwon FC in a bid to land the highly-rated winger, Yang Min-hyeok.
Yang Min-hyeok recently penned down his first professional contract and is in line to feature against Spurs on 31st July when Ange Postecoglou’s men rub shoulders with K-League XI.
This could be an ideal move for Tottenham, as they are not only scheduled to face him in the off-season but also have Son in their ranks to back a move for the South Korean star. Any potential move for Yang can further strengthen Spurs’ presence in the South Korean and Asian markets.
