VIABLE UPDATE; PREMIER LEAUGE CLUB NOW READY TO TABLE THEIR FIRST OFFER FOR TOTTENHAM ACE.VIEW

Fulham have turned their attention towards Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after their bid for Scott McTominay was rebuffed.

Hojbjerg is seeking to leave North London this summer to secure more regular play

Interest in the player has come from several clubs across Europe, but it is Fulham now who are reportedly planning to make a first move.

According to Football Insider, Fulham are readying a bid for the Danish international after their £17 million bid for Scott McTominay was turned down by Manchester United.

Spurs have reportedly informed Hojbjerg that he is free to find a new club following the recent £40 million signing of Archie Gray from Leeds United earlier this month.

Last season, Hojbjerg’s playing time was significantly reduced, starting only 21% of Premier League games despite making 36 appearances.

Most of his contributions came as a substitute under Ange Postecoglou, often entering the field in the latter stages of matches.

This limited role has likely influenced Hojbjerg’s decision to seek more consistent playing opportunities elsewhere.

With Hojbjerg in the final year of his contract, which expires next June, Tottenham recognise the need to sell him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
