DONE DEAL: Joao Felix Completes Stunning Transfer And Amadou Onana Signs Aston Villa’s Dream Window

Aston Villa have been one of the Premier League’s most active clubs this summer, and with the new season fast approaching, Unai Emery may not be done in the transfer market

The new Premier League season is just over a month away, and Aston Villa fans have plenty of reasons to be excited.

Unai Emery‘s side travel to the London Stadium for their first game of the season against West Ham, kicking off what should be an exciting campaign – including a Champions League debut. And while anticipation brews for top-tier European football, Villa know they’ll be in safe hands after Emery extended his contract this summer.

The Spaniard – who has won European competitions on four occasions – still has a month to build his squad for the upcoming season. The Mirror reported how his side have already been heavily linked with the likes of Joao Felix and Amadou Onana, but keeping hold of key stars like Ollie Watkins will be another key component to achieving their dream window.

Aston Villa have done it! Unai Emery’s heroes will be playing in the Champions League next season, and as the club and its fans celebrate a truly remarkable achievement, new merchandise is on sale to mark the occasion. T-shirts, hoodies and souvenirs have been launched on the Aston Villa Store.

Villa have splashed out nearly £100million so far this summer. Eight new faces will be seen at Villa Park next season, with the standout signing thus far being left-back Ian Maatsen.

Having spent last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund from Chelsea, the Dutchman impressed as he and the German giants made it to the Champions League final. Villa swooped in to help the Blues balance their books with a £37.5m purchase, and it’s expected Maatsen will be a regular starter under.
