DON’T MISS OUT; Manchester City set for fresh cash windfall after Premier League club agree deal with former goalkeeper.

Manchester City are set to earn money from Aro Muric’s impending transfer from Burnley to Ipswich Town.

The 25-year-old is set to become the second player from the City Football Academy to move to Portman Road this summer, with newly-promoted Ipswich Town having already secured the signing of former Manchester City striker Liam Delap.

The striker completed a permanent move to Suffolk, choosing to sign for Ipswich ahead of Southampton, after Manchester City accepted £20 million bids for the 21-year-old from both clubs.

Manchester City could earn further money from Ipswich Town this summer, with Kieran McKenna planning to add Burnley goalkeeper Aro Muric to his squad ahead of the 2024/25 season, following the departure of former first-choice shot-stopper Vaclav Hladky.

Muric, who made five first-team appearances and was an unused substitute at Manchester City on 53 occasions, moved to Turf Moor from the Etihad Stadium in 2022, making appearances in the Sky Bet Championship and Premier League for Vincent Kompany’s former side.

The Kosovo international has made 38 appearances since his senior debut in 2018, and played the final 10 matches of the season for Burnley during the recent campaign – replacing fellow former Manchester City shot-stopper James Trafford.
