JUST IN; Everton: Jarrad Branthwaite sale could fund summer transfer rebuild at Goodison Park.

The sale of Jarrad Branthwaite could be used to fund a summer rebuild at Everton, with clubs now lining up to tempt the star away from Goodison Park, according to Joe Thomas.

Branthwaite has been linked to the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Newcastle in recent weeks as rumours begin to hot up about his long-term future.

Writing for the Liverpool Echo [18 March], Thomas shared: “This week his progress was crowned with a first senior England call-up and few could argue it was deserved.

“Clubs are lining up to position themselves for a shot at signing Branthwaite in the summer but whatever happens, Everton will be stronger for his impact – whether that be as a central figure in a rebuild that must take place after this season, or whether through a major sale that helps to fund the club and potentially some of that overhaul.”
