Sunderland gem who won 88% duels hailed as ‘remarkable’ despite Leicester City defeat
One Sunderland star caught the eye in particular on Tuesday night, despite the defeat vs Leicester City.
The game was tight, and Mike Dodds‘ side had some good spells in possession after the break, but Jamie Vardy’s 13th minute goal proved decisive in the end.

“A few loose passes in the first half but a remarkable full Championship debut given his age and the calibre of opposition. Played with no fear and always tried to take the positive option – caused Leicester some problems in the second half. Surely earned more starts in the near future.”
