Sheffield United are on course for a record-breaking season for goals conceded – but which sides in Premier League history are currently the top 8?

• Sheffield United are the first to concede five goals in four straight home games in EFL history, and look on track to concede the most goals in a 38-game Premier League season.
•  Swindon Town conceded 100 goals in 42 games in the 93/94 season, which remains the most for a single term.
•  Derby County’s 2007/08 side, widely regarded as the worst team in Premier League history, currently holds the record for most goals conceded in 38 games.

Their 6-0 loss to Arsenal marked an interesting milestone in the beautiful game, with the Blades becoming the first team in English Football League History to concede five goals in four home games on the trot across all competitions.
