Daniel Farke could be tempted to make a couple of changes to his Leeds United side to face Stoke City tonight.
The Whites were held to a 1-1 draw at Huddersfield Town on Saturday and with a trip to Sheffield Wednesday to come on Friday, rotation will be important to keep the squad fresh.
Farke’s only fresh injury concern ahead of tonight’s game comes at the back, with Junior Firpo a minor doubt. A late decision will be made on his fitness.
However, it has to be said that there were a couple of players who looked leggy at the weekend and so alterations may be what Leeds need to pick themselves up and start another winning run.
Here is our predicted XI for the match.
Goalkeeper
Illan Meslier made a couple of important saves in that first half at Huddersfield, and, of course, starts again here.
Defence
At the back is where changes could be made and one player who deserves a start is £2.5m man Connor Roberts, who is still waiting for his full league debut since joining from Burnley.
Having scored the equaliser from the bench against Leicester City last month, he turned the provider for Patrick Bamford’s goal at Huddersfield.
Sam Byram should also come in for his first league start since New Year’s Day amid doubts over Firpo, with Joe Rodon and Ethan Ampadu starting in central defence again.
Midfield
With Roberts coming in at right-back, that should hand Archie Gray the opportunity to play his best position in midfield, following his stellar performance at Chelsea.
Glen Kamara looked a little off it on Saturday and so is the man to make way, with Ilia Gruev keeping his place as the holding midfielder.
Attack
Farke may be tempted to bring Dan James back in from the start but unlike his Welsh compatriot Roberts, he probably didn’t do enough from the bench on Saturday in order to do so.
