A replacement for Summerville, a full-back and another midfielder after Glen Kamara’s exit. Plenty of names are being linked with a move to Elland Road ahead of Saturday’s opener against Portsmouth.

Leeds now ‘on alert’ for ‘magical’ Premier League winger

One wide player Leeds have been linked with is Crystal Palace star Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. Described as “magical” by Roy Hodgson, Rak-Sakyi starred on loan at Charlton in 2022-23 and had a hand in 22 goals.

He returned to Palace for 2022-23 but struggled to get game time, managing only eight senior outings. But Palace still rate him, and The Sun’s transfer expert Alan Nixon has an update on his Patreon channel

Nixon says Southampton have seen a permanent offer rejected, after the Saints upped their initial £7m bid to £12m for Rak-Sakyi. They want to send him on loan to the Championship and Leeds are ‘on alert’.
