BREAKING NEWS: Hammers finances breakdown

The UEFA Annual Finance Account has revealed the break down of monies paid to West Ham United for winning the Europa Conference League.
The total amount earned does not not including ticket money was €22.1m which equates to £18.88m but of course receipts from paying clients increases that considerably.
The starting bonus €2.94m Co-efficient Bonus was €1.024m,  TV Market Pool amounted to €5.246m whilst Group matches earned €4.004m in bonuses.
The Hammers earned an additional €600,000 win bonus in the round of 16 and €1m win bonus in the quarter finals, €2m, for winning a semi final and €5m for winning the final plus an extra €295,000 as an undefined additional balance.
Thus far, in the more profitable Europa League,.  the Irons have earned around €6 million from the group stage and the wins they enjoyed.
Should they go all the way in the competition and win the final they will earn around €20 million. Qualification for Europe next season is clearly extremely important from this and other levels

West Ham United star Lucas Paqueta will soon discover his fate regarding the ongoing investigation into him.

Lucas Paqueta joined West Ham in the summer of 2022 from Lyon, but it looked like he was set for a big-money move to Manchester City just one year later.

However, the Brazilian’s move to Man City didn’t happen in the end after news emerged that he was under investigation by the FA and FIFA regarding irregular betting patterns.

Since then, the investigation has rumbled on, and the Hammers star has played a key role for David Moyes.

But when will we find out one way or another what is actually happening with Paqueta? It seems like it won’t be too long before everyone knows what’s going on…

Lucas Paqueta investigation update

Football Insider have claimed that Paqueta will discover his fate very soon, with the investigation into his potential betting breaches now close to being completed.

It will be so good for Paqueta and everyone at the London Stadium to get peace of mind regarding this.

I’m hoping that it’s a positive outcome. We’ve seen numerous players given swift punishments for their involvement with betting throughout the years, most recently when Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali was handed a 10-month ban.

So the mere fact that the investigation into the Brazilian is taking so long should be good news really shouldn’t it?

Lucas Paqueta’s alleged breaches do seem to be slightly more complicated, so it’s understandable why the investigation is taking longer to conclude.

The hope is that he is cleared of all wrongdoings. However, if that turns out to be the case, our problem will then be keeping him out the grasp of Manchester City.
