Newcastle United, Ajax and Dortmund ready to make move for Arsenal youngster likened to Bukayo Saka

Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Arsenal youngster Amario Cozier-Duberry with the Magpies reported to be weighing up a summer move. Having already signed hot prospect Alfie Harrison from Manchester City, United are now said to be looking at one of the Gunners’ promising stars.

Cozier-Duberry, 18, is out of contract this summer, with several Premier League clubs alerted to his potential availability. The Evening Standard report that Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax are all monitoring the situation and are ready to move. Cozier-Duberry is an attacking winger, who has already drawn comparisons with Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.

Newcastle could revisit their interest in Everton’s Amadou Onana in the summer after deciding against making a bid in the January transfer window. The Magpies kept their powder dry last month, largely due to financial fair play restrictions, but are likely to be more active in the summer.

They were strongly linked with Everton midfielder Onana, although the Toffees wanted around £50m for the 22-year-old. Much could depend on which division the Toffees are in next season, but reports suggest United are preparing to go back to the Goodison Park outfit as part of their summer transfer spending.
