Agent says he wants to bring 24-year-old striker with 40 career goals to West Ham

A football agent has shared his desire to bring a striker to West Ham United from Turkey in the summer.

West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a top-class striker in the summer transfer window.

Michail Antonio and Danny Ings are both almost certainly done at the very highest level, and they’ll most likely leave the club at the end of the season.

The key for the Hammers will be to sign a proven striker – someone who is suited to the way in which we play.

Quite who that will be remains to be seen, but one football agent has just mooted the possibility of a specific striker moving to West Ham…

Romanian agent Florin Manea shared his desire to bring Gaziantep striker Denis Dragus to the London Stadium, when speaking to Antena AS:

“Drăguş plays well. I would like to, I always talk to him, I want to collaborate with him. I want to help him. To take him to a place like the world. I would like to bring him here to England. He has Premier League value, but we are not talking about the top five. We are talking about West Ham, Crystal Palace. I think so and we have already had a few discussions.”

That’s quite the statement from Manea. Moyes needs to sign an elite centre-forward this summer, and the unheralded Romanian hitman does not fit into that category.

The 24-year-old has bagged just 40 goals in 166 career games (Transfermarkt), and he hasn’t played at anywhere near the highest level of the game

I don’t think Dragus is a terrible striker, but the 24-year-old is completely unproven in the Premier League and he’s certainly not the man West Ham United need.
