JUST IN: Arsenal Could Move In For This Leicester City Midfielder: Good Option For Arteta

Arsenal could move in for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as they look to strengthen their squad next summer.

In a recent interview with Give Me Sport, journalist Dean Jones stated that Arsenal could move in for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Jones said,

“Dewsbury-Hall, a player that’s creative, definitely somebody that I could see that would be on their radar. I know for a fact that as well as being open to signing a new striker, they also feel like they might need another wide player. I think a creator like Dewsbury Hall who can be versatile and who can bring a spark to games. It’s not very often these players become available. I don’t think he’d be top of Arsenal’s list to be honest, but he’s certainly somebody that would fit what they’re trying to do under Arteta.

Dewsbury-Hall’s Impressive Form In The EFL Championship

Dewsbury-Hall has enjoyed a decent campaign at the East Midlands club after he put in a series of impress

The English talent has been a consistent performer for the Foxes as he is averaging 2.2 shots, 2.7 key passes and 1.3 dribbles per game in the EFL Championship. He has even been accurate when distributing the ball from midfield based on his pass completion rate of 84.3% in the second tier of English football (stats via whoscored).

Is Dewsbury-Hall A Good Option For Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta?

Dewsbury-Hall can shoot the ball purely from long range and has got the eye to play a few decisive passes in the final third. He can even make some clever runs with the ball from midfield. The English talent has done well to add plenty of goals and assists to his game this season. However, only time will tell whether he can replicate that kind of form in the Premier League.

Dewsbury-Hall would inject more quality and depth into Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta‘s midfield department. He has what it takes to serve as an ideal replacement for Jorginho whose contract at the Emirates Stadium runs out at the end of this campaign.

At 25, Dewsbury-Hall has his best years ahead of him which makes him a great option for the Gunners to pursue in the summer.
