Leicester could be dealt Premier League point deduction amid concerns over FFP
Leicester are reportedly facing a potential points deduction next season for two alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play.
The Foxes currently sit top of the Championship and look set to seal an instant return to the top flight after relegation from the Premier League last season.

Enzo Maresca’s side have been the leading side for most of the promotion race but could face an early setback in the new campaign.
As reported by The Sun, Premier League and Championship clubs believe Leicester have broken the top division’s £105million loss limit for the three years ending last season.
Furthermore, there is a belief that the Foxes will eclipse the limit of combined losses for the three years that end this season, which stands at £83million.
Despite this, Leicester could secure their promotion before being punished for any breaches, which may come in the form of a points deduction next season in similar fashion to Everton’s recent case.
The Toffees were punished for breaching financial rules and lost ten points in November, but this has now been reduced to six.
The Premier League is tightening its hold on profit and sustainability [PSR] rules amid a further alleged breach by Everton for the period 2022-2023, with Nottingham Forest also coming under scrutiny.
Both clubs attested last March that they were approaching the maximum limit of losses and therefore had to submit their figures at the earlier date of December 31.
As with concerns over Leicester, there is said to be frustration over a lack of clarity as to which league holds responsibility for examining club finances when they have been promoted to or relegated from the Premier League.
As well as this, delays to the resolution of cases means that clubs are able to avoid immediate punishment despite potential breaches.
Leicester, whose losses over three past three seasons excluding the last have been posted at at least £141.75million, could therefore face a similar sanction to Everton.
However, this may not come in time to affect their promotion push, with just 11 games left to play in the Championship.
The Foxes sit three points clear of Ipswich in second but have been on a poor run of late, going winless in their last three league games.
Winning the title is therefore no longer a certainty despite their past domination, although there is a five-point gap between them and the play-off places.
